Checking In: Lone Star Court

It doesn’t get much more unique than the Lone Star Court Hotel in Austin, Texas. My husband has been trying to get me into camping for a while now and being the luxury travel enthusiast that I am I just can’t seem to get into it. Now glamping is another story entirely and is something that I fully embrace, which is why I was delighted by the cool retro inspired cabin vibe Lone Star Court gives off! They even have ‘glamping packages‘ including room accommodations for two, s’mores and complimentary Chill Cowboy drinks in The Water Trough restaurant and bar.

We checked into the front office and opted for a room on the first floor. All of the rooms face inward towards the expansive courtyard, which features fire pits, the pool, bikes and several different relaxation areas. Lone Star Court is also pet-friendly!

When opening our bright teal blue door, it felt like we were retreating into a luxurious glamping getaway complete with a retro Smeg refrigerator (fully stocked with Texas beer and wine…. yassss!). We also loved the Egyptian cotton linens – super luxe!

The toiletries didn’t disappoint either as they were LATHER toiletries, which have been one of our favorite natural beauty brands for over a year now.

The Grounds At Lone Star Court

Lone Star Court offers a unique outdoor environment that delivers a prime Austin glamping spot, with over four acres for relaxation and escape. You can also enjoy their food trailer court and live music at The Water Trough every Wednesday through Saturday evening!

Location is key and Lone Star Court is located right in the heart of the Domain. Anything and everything you need is in walking distance. Drinks, food, and shopping – it’s all just a few steps or a short bike ride away.

Another awesome perk is complimentary breakfast. We loved waking up and walking over to The Water Trough for a cup of fresh Katz Coffee and delicious, healthy breakfast. When you’re there tell Winnie we say hi! Each morning she was there greeting us with a smile and always made sure we had what we needed. Thanks again Winnie!
