We’ve partnered with Roy’s Restaurant so that one lucky reader can win a $50 gift certificate to Roy’s in Plano!
We were first introduced to Roy’s when we lived in Hawaii (link to our previous review of Roy’s Restaurant here). It was one of our family’s go to restaurants when we had something to celebrate and we have many wonderful memories of festive times spent there. Now, we are especially excited to learn that there is a Roy’s Restaurant in Plano, Texas – so close to Dallas!
They’re currently offering a surf and turf special like never before with a limited-time, two-course Filet and Lobster menu for just $32.95. Starting on Sept. 15, Guests can escape the ordinary to experience filet and lobster made with the bold flavors and Asian influence of Roy’s Pacific Rim Cuisine.
Menu: The two-course menu starts with a mouthwatering appetizer of Lobster Potstickers with Spicy Japanese Togarashi Miso Butter Sauce, prepared with Ginger, Garlic and Thai Basil. To follow, Guests enjoy an entree featuring Charred Filet Mignon with a Coriander Chimichurri Sauce and Ginger Glazed Lobster Tail.
ABOUT ROY’S: The internationally acclaimed Roy’s Restaurant is known for its unique and creative menu, a sensational adventure in bold flavors, and its sincere and engaging hospitality that is a welcome escape from the ordinary dining experience.
Roy’s Restaurant was born by blending two dynamic principals: delicious food and hospitality inspired by the “aloha” spirit of the Hawaiian Islands. Inspired by his Japanese roots and native Hawaiian cuisine, Chef Roy Yamaguchi opened the very first Roy’s Restaurant in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1988.
Today there are 20 Roy’s locations in the continental United States that are owned and operated by United Ohana, LLC, and another six in Hawaii, one in Guam and one in Okinawa, Japan. For more information about Roy’s Restaurant, please visit www.roysrestaurant.com.
